Job Title ABES - DIRECTOR OF SALES Education Bachelor's Degree Career Level Executive Category Sales Job Type/ FLSA Status Salaried Exempt Travel Required 10 - 20% Shift Type N/A Job Description Position Summary The Director of Sales will be responsible for the leadership of the sales teams for Core & Energy Projects, Core Services, and FM/Critical Services. This position will be the key driver of growth for the overall business, and will build a team that can deliver on those growth opportunities in the identified markets. Essential Duties Building the strategic and tactical plans for the entire sales organization to deliver better than market growth. Align and develop the sales team to meet annual goals. Own the accuracy and usage of the CRM system that ensures accurate data for use in business planning. Developing relationships with key customers that solidifies our partnership with them over the long term. Identify new customer and market opportunities for the business to pursue to drive additional growth. Coordinate with the marketing team to develop and execute an annual plan to exhibit at trade shows within the Baltimore/Washington market and nationally. Oversees all hiring and building the network of potential candidates for future additions to the sales team. Establishes performance goals for the overall sales team, and monitors performance on an ongoing basis. Coordinates and communicates sales activities with all other departments. Develops and/or maintains and improves business relations with all customers of the Company. Responsible for managing and controlling the sales budget. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree or 10+ years of sales leadership experience. Minimum 5 years of experience in a sales management capacity in the HVAC market. Proven track record in managing and directing a highly skilled, motivated, successful and results-oriented sales force.
