The Director, Clinical Operations oversees the strategic integration, facilitation, and coordination of clinical and quality initiatives for Mary Washington Medical Group (MWMG). This position serves as a professional role model, leader and mentor to members of the healthcare team in accordance with organizational and departmental philosophy and goals. The Clinical Operations Manager coordinates the development of an environment that promotes excellence in clinical practice and customer satisfaction, while striving for optimal efficiency and productivity of all resources within MWMG.. Essential Functions & Responsibilities:. Directs the development and implementation of strategic clinical and quality initiatives.. Develops, executes, and reviews operational plan and policies for MWMG. Facilitates coordination and standardization among all MWMG practices to ensure efficient business operations.. Works in collaboration with all teams to support MWHC strategic goals. Develops plans for MWMG practice to achieve goals.. Supervises and serves as mentor and coach for MWMG Practice Managers.. Represents Practice Manager team in transition of external practices into MWMG and serves as point of contact for new practice Associates and Managers.. Work in collaboration with all teams to ensure compliance with all State and Federal guidelines for compliance.. Develops performance indicators for all practice operations; evaluates outcomes and provides timely feedback on changes to be made.. Maintains knowledge of regulatory requirements related to MWMG practice locations and develops methodologies to review and ensure compliance.. Participates with Leadership, Operations, Practice Managers and the healthcare team in the recruitment, selection, orientation, and retention of Associates.. Participates in clinical reviews as needed to support resolution of customer satisfaction and quality issues.. Communicates results and updates on work to Senior Leadership.. Maintains professional competencies by attending educational programs and participating in professional organizations.. Collaborates with Operations and Leadership in the development of budget.. Serves as direct point of contact for MWMG Hospitalist Program's contracted Manager and supplements program management activities, as necessary.. Performs other related duties as requested.. Other Functions:. Qualifications:. Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline is required.. A minimum five years of experience in management capacity required.. A minimum of five years of experience in related field is required.. Demonstrated proficiency in verbal and written communication.. Experience with Microsoft Office and related programs.. Experience with collaborating with healthcare providers, staff and Associates..
