Our client specializes in creating custom metal products. They are currently seeking a highly qualified Maintenance Manager to help maintain their facilities and improve their business. Responsibilities include the following: Perform highly diversified duties to install/maintain production machines and the plant facilitys equipment Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service Inspect or test damaged machine parts for defects and functionality and repair as needed Develop and/or maintain maintenance schedules and ensure implementation Keep maintenance logs and ensure that health and safety policies are complied with Perform safety inspections of the facility to identify and resolve issues Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications and schematics Assist in the planning and oversight of all repair and installation activities Monitor equipment inventory and request purchase orders when necessary Manage relationships with contractors and service providers Coordinate work performed by outside vendors Minimum 5 years proven experience as maintenance manager or other lead role Strong knowledge of the manufacturing industry Working knowledge of facilities machines and equipment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Outstanding organizational and leadership skills Strong knowledge of engineering concepts- including electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Able to frequently lift and/or move items over 75 pounds, as well as be on feet all day
