If you routinely pull up the developer console in your browser, notice every JavaScript console warning and error, or hurt a little inside when you see DOM rendering problems in Web sites, this might just be the job for you! WHAT YOU'LL DO: Develop and maintain Web applications using modern JavaScript libraries and frameworks Design user interface mockups and build HTML and CSS to bring them to life Create interactive Web-based user interface components and data visualizations Test and validate cross-browser compatibility in front-end components Work closely with customers and teammates to rapidly build, test, and deploy new capabilities TASKS YOU MIGHT WORK ON: Create a Web dashboard using Angular.io and Bootstrap that contains several visualizations showing different important dimensions of performance data Enhance a WordPress-based (mixed PHP and Javascript) search application to intelligently organize similar result content into tabs and to present a summary page containing the most relevant results from each tab Write a reusable D3.js calendar heatmap component for visualizing event activity patterns over time WHY WE SHOULD TALK: You've got at least 4 years of solid front-end experience, working with technologies like Angular.io, React, Bootstrap, D3.js, Leaflet, SCSS, PHP, Javascript, and Typescript You want to work in a lively yet laid-back environment full of people who love learning You're tired of being bored at work; and you remember when coding used to be fun You want to build stuff people actually use This position requires a TS/SCI with poly (or suitability to acquire one) TL;DR Like building web apps, creative user interfaces and interactive data visualizations using modern technologies?
