Job Description CACI is looking for a motivated Senior Systems Architect in the MD area. Join the CACI team to help develop and implement computer systems and networks for your organization. What Youll Get to Do: Design architecture to include the software, hardware, and communications to support the total requirements as well as provide for present and future cross-functional requirements and interfaces. Identifies, assesses, and presents options for meeting the functional and technical requirements including hardware and software updates or upgrades. Responsible for developing high level system design diagrams. More About the Role: Ensure systems are compatible and in compliance with the standards for open systems architectures, the Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) and International Standards Organization (ISO) reference models, and profiles of standards - such as Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) Open Systems Environment (OSE) reference model - as they apply to the implementation and specification of Information Management (IM) solution of the application platform, across the application program interface (API), and the external environment/software application. Ensure that the common operating environment is compliant. Evaluate analytic and systematic problems of work flows, organization and planning and develops appropriate corrective action. Youll Bring These Qualifications: Required Experience: At least fifteen years of general experience of which 12 directly related experience. Education: Bachelors Degree in a relevant discipline (Computer Science, Electrical Engineering). Certifications: DoD Approved 8570 Baseline IAT Level I or Level II certification. ITIL Foundations certification required. must be current or able to be obtain within 90 days of start date. These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have: Education: Advanced Degree in a relevant discipline (Computer Science, Electrical Engineering). Certification as Project Management Professional (PMP), or as Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level II in Program Management is desirable but not mandatory.
