Job Description The CDM Program is managed within the DHS National Protection and Programs Directorate, (NPPD)/Office of Cybersecurity and Communications (CS&C)/Network Security Deployment (NSD) Division, responsible for enhancing the security, resilience, and reliability of the Nations cyber and communications infrastructure. The DHS CDM Program mission is to safeguard and secure cyberspace in an environment where the threat of cyber-attack is continuously growing and evolving. The CDM Program defends the United States (US) Federal Information Technology (IT) networks from cybersecurity threats by providing continuous monitoring sensors (tools), diagnosis, mitigation tools, and associated services to strengthen the security posture of Government networks. Do you have demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams covering technology research, customer relations management, and enterprise system and data architecture? Then you are a perfect candidate to lead our Technology Innovation, Enterprise Architecture, Governance and Service Delivery Management Team. The successful candidates will be a self-starter able to operate with limited oversight and manage a pool of Cyber Technologists, Service Delivery Managers, and Governance experts. The enterprise solution architect sets the future technical direction of the program informed by the ends of the DHS Components and the focus areas of the Federal and DHS CDM PMOs. Youll support your team by guiding and influencing our customers towards enhanced cyber security solutions enabling them to achieve reduced risk and threat reduction. By collaborating with our many customer stakeholders, cyber industry technology solution providers, and our program cyber solution engineers youll facilitate development of Request for Service (RFS) solutions that are compliant with Homeland Security (HLS) EA policies, standards and procedures. More About the Role: Drive the technology roadmap and direction of a major cyber security program Responsible for identifying, qualifying, and presenting innovative solutions that address program requirements informed by DHS Component Stakeholder needs Lead, manage and mentor a diverse team of technologists, service delivery managers, and IT Security Governance Analysts. Manage the relationship with our Cyber Vendor Consortium Ensure the collection of CDM projects are guided by a common data integration roadmap to achieve the overall program outcomes. Youll Bring These Qualifications: Active DoD clearance required and must be able to obtain a DHS Entrance on Duty (EOD) US Citizenship Required Bachelors of Science in a technical field and 12+ years of experience in Information Technology and Cyber Security. Demonstrated experience bringing innovation to a large government cyber security program. Demonstrated experience in a senior technical leadership role of a large scale cyber security program. Broad knowledge and experience with a variety of cybersecurity technologies. Ability to develop and present technical briefings to senior staff in the government in a way that enables them to understand the value of the solutions and leads to consensus on technical direction Proven ability to lead multiple teams in a collaborative manner These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have: Current DHS CDM experience Experience supporting one or more DHS Component (ex. USCG, USSS, CBP, ICE, TSA, FEMA, etc.).
