To qualify for this position, you must have the following:
Grade 7: Applicants must have at least one full-time year (12 months) of specialized experience at, or equivalent to, the Grade 05 (or relative to market standards). Grade 05 is defined as entry-level type of scope and complexity of work. Specialized experience includes:
- Assisting senior staff members or a team in exploring funding support from individual donors.
- Assisting in writing reports, presentations and other written materials.
- Conducting outreach initiatives, such as fundraising, for organizations or think-tanks.
- Coordinating events logistics.
- Performing administrative functions, to include responding to inquiries via emails or calls.
Substitution of Education: Superior Academic Achievement – having earned/ completed the requirements for a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a grade point average of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale, class standing in the upper third of a graduating class or major subdivision, or membership in a national scholastic honor society.

Substitution of Education: You may also substitute successful completion of one year of full-time graduate education for the experience required at the Grade 05 level. This education must have been obtained from an accredited college or university and demonstrate the skills necessary to do the work of the position. A course study in program management, business administration, communications, or international affairs is qualifying.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the above education requirements if you can show that the foreign education is comparable to that received in an accredited educational institution in the United States.
