Overview:

Sentara Princess Anne Hospital in Virginia Beach, Virginia is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Noninvasive Cardiology Lab.

This position is a Part Time Day Shift, 16 hours a week and working every third weekend both Saturday and Sunday from 7am to 11am.

Unit Information:
The RN role involves mild sedation and monitoring for procedures including Trans esophageal Echo (TEE) and the supervision of stress testing including standard stress testing, Stress Echo, and Nuclear Perfusion stress testing.
All of these stress tests are both exercise and pharmacological. The RN's also start IV's for Echo contrast studies.
Position involves EKG interpretation (training will be provided).
The RN's would also respond to any emergencies in the department.

New Hire Education Requirement: All Registered Nurses who do not have their BSN will be required to sign a BSN Agreement committing to successfully obtain their BSN within 5 years of hire. BSN or MSN preferred. Meets and maintains any requirements defined by specific specialty; Critical Care/IMCU/EP/Advanced Heart Failure Center/SMG Cardiology Practices- ACLS within 1 year of hire; All Direct Care RN's required to have BLS within 90 days of hire.
