Cyber Capabilities Delivery Lead

Key Role:

Lead the successful implementation and transition of Cyber capabilities to a Group D federal agency and its geographically diverse sub-components in support of the Department of Homeland Security Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) Program. Apply rigorous and disciplined project management and identify and mitigate risks to ensure capabilities are delivered on time and on budget. Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with many different internal and external stakeholder groups while influencing and driving a highly complex and visible mission and resolve conflicts as they arise during all phases on the project life cycle, from design to transition to operations and maintenance. Lead the team to research, prepare, and deliver client-ready documents, presentations, and other materials on a variety of topics, including engineering plans, technical architectures, implementation schedules, activity sequences, and a catalog of Cyber capabilities. Define, implement, and manage a metrics-based approach to track CDM implementation success and interface with internal and external stakeholders to incorporate tracked metrics into relevant status and dashboard reports. Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy in collaboration with other team leaders to identify, assign, and align resources appropriate to the work to be performed, helping to build a dynamic, agile organization that can respond quickly to ad hoc demands while maintaining the necessary quality levels. Support the development of intellectual capital related to next-generation Cyber opportunities and support whitepapers, proposal efforts, and client discussions that help the team grow into new and adjacent business areas.

Basic Qualifications:

-7+ years of experience with management and supervisory expertise, leading teams across a wide variety of IT and non-IT environments

-Experience in interfacing directly with senior government CISO, CIO, and contractor program manager staff

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree required

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with CDM tools and agencies, including CDM tools and the role they play in government environments

-Experience with leading the execution of FISMA-related programs across large and complex multi-agency environments

-Experience with leading and identifying security-related gaps in government environments and identifying and implementing solutions to close those gaps

-Ability to be patient with a friendly demeanor, even under stressful circumstances

-Possession of excellent time management skills

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-MBA or MS degree in Management or a related field
