System Security Assessment Facilitator

Key Role:

Take an active role as a Priority System Assessment (PSA) facilitator for a government client. Help the client use the CERT RMM risk framework to provide risk management for mission-oriented systems, including ascertaining essential business functions. Oversee assessment processes and leverage expertise in Cyber security and organization to support PSA risk assessment tasks. Work with the team to participate in risk management and make a positive impact on the security of critical client systems. Organize, analyze, update, meet, and report on security issues with the team. Combine the CERT CMM risk framework and security best practices to deliver timely system assessments and approvals, briefings, and coordination across the organization to provide client security awareness. Build expertise in Cybersecurity and risk management and assessment.

Basic Qualifications:

-4+ years of experience with IT administration, IT Cybersecurity, or IT help desk, including Tier I or II

-3+ years of experience with applying Information Assurance (IA) frameworks, including NIST RMF, NIST SP 800-53, NIST SP 800-37, DIACAP, or ICD 503 to IT system development or assessments 

-1+ years of experience with developing or updating IA policies and procedures, including access control, incident response, contingency planning, and configuration and change management

-Experience with administering, operating, or interpreting and analyzing the results of vulnerability or configuration scans using tools that include Tenable Nessus, Retina, Nexpose, or WebInspect
-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

-Knowledge of the CERT RMM

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree

-CISSP, Security+, CISA, or comparable certification
