Centralized Reporting and Data Analytics team is looking for a leader who enjoys data and people! The ideal candidate has a passion for data analysis, technology and helping people leverage the technology to transform their business processes and analytics. As a Data Analytics Tech Team Lead, you will be part of a smart, talented team responsible for supporting a wide range of internal customers. You will draw on all the skills in your toolkit to analyze, design, and develop analytic solutions that help our customers run more effective operations and make better business decisions.

A Day in the Life...

A typical day includes:

*Facilitate a strategy meeting with a customer team to elicit requirements and define a MVP (Minimum Viable Product) to be delivered
*Lead a working session with a cross-functional team to come up with a streamlined design for a dashboard
*Conduct a stakeholder meeting to provide project update or socialize a new proposed solution, often including product demos
*Independently leverage Data Science tools to profile data and conduct data discovery
*Facilitate a meeting with the project team to coordinate project activities in preparation for deployment
*Create engaging communication materials for a project going live soon (release notes, demos, etc.)
*Research and reading on the latest development in the Business Intelligence world or Big Data space
* Manage, coach, and develop direct reports


*Typically 7 years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or comparable field
*Strong data skills (SQL is a must), ability to independently research, profile data, and perform other data discovery activities experience with advanced data science tools (R, Python, Alteryx) a plus
*Experience with BI and/or Data Visualization tools such as Tableau, Microstrategy is a must
*Ability to use various data analysis techniques to collect, explore, and identify the right data to be visualized in a Business Intelligence tool
*Experience working with different Databases and understanding of data concepts (including data warehousing, data lakes, structured and unstructured data)
*Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
*Experience leading and mentoring junior staff on technical projects
*People management experience a strong plus
*Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others
*Organizational skills and the ability to multitask; Prioritizing assignments and working independently to ensure work is completed on schedule and meets customer expectations
*BS/BA Degree in Finance, Computer Science, MIS or related field
*Prior UX/UI design experience (knowledge of web page behavior and dashboard best practices, visual standards, customer experience analysis etc.) a strong plus

Highly driven, results-oriented, out-side-of-the-box thinker and nimble problem solver with a willingness to do 'whatever it takes' to deliver business value quickly.
