The Finance Change Management and Application Support Team is seeking a Business Analyst Senior to join the team. This group is responsible for the management of significant projects (e.g., strategic change management, new business and product initiatives, process re-engineering, and establishment of control procedures) and application support activities within Finance division. The person in this role will support production, initiatives, light enhancement, break fixes, data corrections, and infrastructure changes for the Regulatory Reporting department.

Responsibilities include:

Provide change management and project support
  • Identify business requirements, creating project and process specifications, coordinating with project teams and ensuring that projects are on schedule and within budget
  • Provide production application support duties which involve logging issues, performing in-depth analysis, working with IT to determine root cause, developing recommended solutions and ensuring controlled, timely deployments to fix the issues
  • Interact with developers, Business & Management Teams and Stakeholders and facilitate decision-making. Serve as Liaison between Business and technology teams
  • Become familiar and knowledgeable regarding LOB operational processes, priorities and objectives
  • Perform analysis, research, and adhoc requests as needed
  • Participation in the full life cycle of a project, which includes identification of requirements, prototype, design, development, testing and implementation
  • Providing input into proposed solutions, identify impacts, risks and issues, and work with technical and business staff to implement proposed solutions
  • Partner with the business area and provide expertise in solving complex business requests and processes. Automate manual processes to reduce risks
  • Assist in development of training programs and materials for the user community
  • Analyzing business requirements to convert them into detailed system requirements and functional specifications
  • Manage issue resolution with business users and technical support partners. Liaison with IT teams in troubleshooting, resolving, and preventing system outages/downtime


Qualifications

Qualifications
  • 5-7 years of related experience
  • College Degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of full development life cycle and/or Agile implementation project management experience
  • Advanced Skills: SQL/Relational Databases, Sharepoint, MS Project, MS Excel, MS Power Point, MS Word, MS Visio
