Apply to join Freddie Mac's growing Single-Family Data department as our newest Business Monitoring and Data Solutions, Senior - Data Analyst.

This position is in the Single-Family Data organization on the Business Monitoring and Data Solutions (BMDS) team. The BMDS team provides data project execution and operations support. The hired incumbent will be responsible for:
* Impact analysis
* Requirements gathering and facilitation
* Process documentation
* Data Analysis
* Creation of data visualizations
* Ongoing support / change management of visualizations

The work of the Senior Data Analyst will fall under two primary categories:

Initiatives & Project Governance

* Work with the business area to document current state process and document (e.g. creation of process flows)
* Work with the business to gather detailed requirements and produce documents which can be leveraged for development
* Perform in depth data analysis to understand current state of the source data vs needed future state and work with Business and IT on closing the gap
* Act as liaison between business area and technical support teams to ensure all parties have complete understanding of requirements, issues/requests and process steps to ensure alignment and successful outcome
* Produce visualizations of data which the Business can use for day to day operations
* Assesses changes in the ecosystem and translates changes into concrete action items
* Independently determines and develops approach to solutions, working under limited direction.
* Follows established processes, procedures, directions and helps drive continuous process improvements.
* Responsible for maintaining process documentation and other relevant records as needed.

Qualifications

* College Degree or equivalent experience,
* 7-10 years of experience as Business/Data Analyst and overall progressive experience supporting a divisional/enterprise data driven initiatives
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Work, Excel, Visio etc.).
* Good written and verbal communication.
* Experience with both structured and unstructured data
* Ability to work independently and interface directly with stakeholders
* Experience with SQL, XML, and JSON.
* Experience with DB2 and Oracle database.
* Strong data analysis, research and analytical skills.
* Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, accuracy and accountability.

Preferred Skills

* Experience with Splunk
* Experience with SPL, HTML, JS, and CSS
* Experience creating visualizations of data (i.e. creating dashboards)
* Experience working on system integrations
* Strong understanding of object oriented programing
* Experience in the Mortgage industry, Freddie Mac, and operational processes and information needs are a plus.
* Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to changes.
* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
* Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
