You will be joining a team that is revolutionizing business and infrastructure monitoring while closely working with Information Security. As a senior engineer, you will implement, maintain, and enhance the systems, create user solutions, contribute to DevOps and cloud efforts, and optimize continued operations.

Your Work Falls into Three Primary Categories:

* Collaborate with cross functional Information Technology Services, Information Security, and business teams to achieve desired outcomes
* Establish trusting relationships across the enterprise
* Establish appropriate metrics and reporting on availability, performance, capacity, growth, and utilization

Support of Design and Builds
* Install and maintain systems for monitoring, log aggregation, search, and dashboarding
* Providing technical expertise to design most efficient and cost-effective solutions for Splunk, ELK, and other monitoring tools
* Evaluate technology standards, products, and the risks and benefits of technology introduction
* Define backup/recovery strategies and standards
* Provide certification and rollout of upgrades and patches

Support Operations
* Develop and maintain operational procedures
* Automate repetitive tasks and performance tuning
* Ensure overall system and environment availability, performance, and capacity
* Engage in incident management, resolve complex issues, and provide long term solutions
* Participate in on-call on a rotation schedule but also be available to assist with during major issue or outages


* 5-7 years of elaborating and relevant Information Technology experience
* At least 2 years of full time experience working as a Splunk Administrator/engineer
* Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Sciences, any related field, or equivalent experience
* Experience using or administering Linux and Windows operating systems
* Fluent in Bash, Python, and Ruby scripting
