The Director of Business Development - Mobile Identity Applications is a key contributor to the future strategic direction, growth and overall success of Idemia's mobile solutions portfolio, including mobile driver license (mDL). This position will lead business development around mobile in the government sector and will work with a cross-functional team to implement the go-to-market plan.. The Director of Business Development- Mobile Identity Applications will be a critical contributor to the future strategic direction, growth, and overall success of Idemia. Candidates must have current, referenceable State government contacts and a track record of successfully managing and executing business plans.. The overall development and growth of Idemia's government mobile solutions pipeline. Responsible for growing revenue through new and existing relationships within State government agencies.. Develop business strategy and plan for mobile solutions. Close collaboration with other functional groups within Idemia to ensure successful execution of the approved business plan(s). Communicate regularly and effectively on progress, issues and blockers to senior leadership. Research and document potential threats/competitors in the mobile solutions marketplace.. Create and present compelling presentations and demonstrations for potential State government customers. Document a process for bringing "Voice of the Customer" feedback into the Idemia product development cycle. Work with Government Relations to set, coordinate, and carry out government relations actions aligned with business plan objectives. Required Skills. The successful candidate must be a deep strategic thinker and possess the highest level of ethics and integrity. He/she should be creative, high energy and a team player.. Proven experience in creating business plans and leading a cross-functional team to execute.. Strong agency relationships with some or all of the following - State DMVs, AAMVA, Federal government agenceis. Technical expertise sufficient to successfully pursue and manage large dollar, technical solutions.. An innovative leader known for "outside the box" solutions.. A proven track record of developing deep relationships with C-level and key business line executives.. Strong organizational skills with an ability to create an effective, yet practical plan and then implement.. Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills and the ability to communicate complicated subject matter clearly with persuasive presentation skills and a talent for listening.. Required Experience. BA / BS degree in Business, Engineering or Computer Science or other related field.. Working with development teams with multiple solution based product lines.. Strong Interpersonal skills, integrity and relationship management skills
