The primary roles of the Managing Director of Marketing are to manage the marketing and communications functions, and as a senior management team member, help drive corporate initiatives and goals throughout the organization. The position has ultimate responsibility for all marketing activity across all lines of business to include business intelligence, creative services and marketing communications. Position Requirements Education and Experience: Bachelors degree required, advanced degree preferred. A minimum of ten years marketing experience with an emphasis on marketing communications, and five+ years of demonstrated success in supervising and managing investment professionals and marketing managers. Experience with and thorough understanding of all aspects of marketing communications to include the writing, design, and web functions. Thorough working knowledge of advertising and design concepts. A strong track record of success in hiring, training and motivating marketing professionals in their use and execution of a well defined investment and trading process. Demonstrated experience focusing on performance and execution. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Excellent organization/project management abilities with time management and strong team orientation skills. Demonstrated expertise across both traditional print and digital media. Understanding of effective marketing communication concepts. Strong communication skills - the ability to represent ideas and investment process with conviction. Effective public speaking ability is required. A strong work ethic with a high standard for attention to detail and quality. Comfort in working in a demanding and intellectually high-powered environment.
