ID.me is searching for a results-oriented Director of Sales for our group verification product. The ideal candidate will be capable of closing sales greater than $250K in ARR while leading the team at ID.me focused on closing new accounts and growing existing accounts. ID.me's group verification clients are primarily in the ecommerce, telecommunications, automotive, and ticketing industries. An ideal candidate will have an ecommerce background and the intellectual ability to adapt product marketing needs to adjacent industries while also identifying and prioritizing product enhancements to serve target segments. This individual will be a strong communicator, with a knack for distilling complex ideas and technology with simplicity and clarity. The ideal candidate will be able to guide high-level strategy while also rolling up their sleeves to support the team with the day-to-day. Responsibilities Own the P&L for group verification. Meet revenue and profitability targets set forth in the plan. Close sales opportunities with blue-chip brands in target verticals including travel for in-person meetings at prospect headquarters, RFP response, and cross-functional internal engagement to align resources to opportunities. Develop new business with existing clients and identify areas of improvement to beat sales quotas. Coach, develop, and manage a sales and customer success team. Work with marketing to iterate demand generation strategies and collateral based on market feedback. Qualifications Bachelor's degree Deep understanding of ecommerce and B2B SaaS sales. 7 - 10 years of sales experience in positions of increasing responsibility, tech experience a plus. Demonstrated success at a startup of 10+ people. Strong track record of successful sales leadership and relationship management. Salesforce experience Strategic and creative thinker with a bias for action. Strong organizational and management skills, including the ability to prioritize multiple projects and objectives.
