Position Description: Our organization is in need of a self-motivated HR Specialist to join our HR Department who provides services to over 1800 employees. The successful candidate will act as one of the first points of contact between our 64 branches and the corporate office to provide HR support and service. Job Duties: Receive calls and make proactive contact related to a variety of Employee Matters, including conducting interviews, providing guidance, and responding to general inquiries Responsible for updating and maintaining case tracking databases, spreadsheets, and files Assists the HR Director in responding to Unemployment, EEOC, DOL and other legal claims Works with other departments to respond to requests for reports, files, and data Analyzes data, identifies trends, and provides metrics, including assistance with drafting presentations and other written materials Assists the HR Director with the Performance Management process including responding to queries; maintaining tracking sheets and conducted follow-up with management as needed Assistance with other projects as needed. Qualifications: Bachelors Degree or Equivalent Experience in Human Resources Experience in a fast-paced HR department supporting a decentralized workforce across multiple states and jurisdictions Adept at managing multiple priorities and pivoting between projects, tasks, and other requests from the field Excellent communication skills across all levels of an organization Strong attention to detail and consistent and timely follow-up with customers Experience in HRIS system strongly preferred (Specifically with the Paychex Product Suite) Able to embrace and guide new HR and business systems and process enhancements Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with a solutions-oriented mindset
