A health insurance company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Medicare Corporate Medical Director. Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities: Provide insight and feedback to Group Medicare clients and leadership regarding claims experience Provide medical interpretation and decisions about the appropriateness of services Advise executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) Qualifications for this position include: MD or DO degree A current and unrestricted license in at least one jurisdiction and willing to obtain license, as required, for various states in region of assignment Board Certified in an approved ABMS Medical Specialty Knowledge of the managed care industry including Medicare, Medicaid and or Commercial products Possess analysis and interpretation skills with prior experience leading teams All other requirements necessary for this position
