The Vice President (VP), Account Management leads the activities of the account management department and maintains strategic relationships with our customers. The Vice President, Account Management deals in the achievement of excellence and insight in order to surpass consumer expectations. In this role, the VP, Account Management will proactively lead the business's strategic account planning processes and develops performance objectives, sales targets and critical milestones. Knowledge and Skills Lead the department in assessing, clarifying and validating customer needs on a regular basis Contribute in the achievement of excellence and insight in order to surpass customer expectations Proactively leads the business's strategic account planning processes and develops performance objectives, sales targets, and critical milestones for weekly/monthly/annual periods Develop and implement customer growth plans Manage cross-functional teams to ensure complex product implementations are delivered on time, on budget, and in accordance with client expectations Establish revenue goals and strategies that advance the performance of the accounts and enables the achievement of the department and business financial goals Develop and maintain healthy relationships with senior managers for all key accounts in order to guarantee their smooth execution Drive and develop account specific growth strategies and approaches Create a team environment of personal accountability towards higher standards of customer satisfaction excellence in execution Lead the team towards the establishment of a trusted/strategic advisor relationship with each assigned client and drive continued value of our products and services Actively manage assigned implementation teams to continually and proactively identify issues and work to find effective solutions Take an active part in the management of customer account escalations Work to identify and/or develop upsell activities Other duties as assigned MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, Customer Relationship Management, Business Management or related field; with 10+ years of experience working in a healthcare industry or within a software company providing solutions to health care clients Master's Degree in Sales, Marketing, Customer Relationship Management, Business Management or related field highly preferred Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment Ability to communicate even the most complex messages in clear, understandable, and convincing terms as well as being able to tailor messages for varying audiences in a relatable manner. Proven and successful track record in establishing strong and long-term customer relationships Proven ability to lead, develop and motivate a team, leading them to achievement or surpassing of goals/targets BACKGROUND CHECKS/FEDERAL HEALTHCARE PROGRAM EXCLUSION LISTS SCREENING Candidates for this position will be required to undergo a pre-employment background check.
