You must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to the NJ-01(GS-04) pay band in the Federal service.
For the NJ-02: You must have at least one year of specialized experience( Specialized experience must be documented in your resume) equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to the NJ-01(GS-04) level in the Federal Service. Experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. You must demonstrate experience 1) developing acquisition strategies; 2) planning, establishing, and reviewing contracts; or 3) preparing procurement request packages.
Volunteer Experience: Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills, and can provide valuable training and experience that translates to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Four years of successfully completed education above the high school level in any field for which high school graduation, or the equivalent, is a prerequisite may be substituted to meet the specialized experience required. Equivalent combinations of successfully completed post-high school education and experience may be used to meet total experience requirements. Such education must have been obtained in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college or university.
