  • This position is a Full Performance Level DCIPS position. DCIPS Full Performance Level positions include GS/GG-13.     Applicant must have directly applicable experience that demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies/knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position. Such experience is typically in or directly related to the work of the position to be filled. Experience must be reflected in your resume.

    Specialized experience required for this position is:
    1. Knowledge of Federal laws, principles, policies, and practices of system acquisition and program management.
    2. Applies cost benefits analysis to analyze and study current Cryptographic hardware systems.
    3. Administered Program Management skills to multi-million dollar Major Space Hardware Systems Acquisition
    4. Manages critical aspects of research, development, production, risk management and support of space hardware systems.
    5. Provides leadership to Contracting Officers Technical Representatives (COTRs) and prime contractors to ensure cost, schedule, and technical performance requirements

    Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA): Selectees are allotted 2 years in which to achieve DAWIA S (Systems Planning, Research, Development, and Engineering) Level II certification requirements in accordance with the 1990 Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act. Certification is the procedure through which a military service or DoD Component determines that an employee meets the education, training, and experience standards required for a career level in any acquisition, technology, and logistics career field.
