DCS is seeking a dynamic, self-starting graphics artist to assist an Army Project Manager with the development of graphics, briefings, digital communication strategies and public websites.
Essential Job Functions:
Design and prepare briefings, charts, and graphics in standard Army formats for presentation to senior Army leadership. Product materials may include, but are not limited to: photography, original artwork, organizational charts, signage, and framed items.
Design graphics (e.g., products, program office logos, etc.) and staff for appropriate technical and management approval for public release.
Produce illustrations for documents associated with scientific and engineering activities (e.g., program management graphs, flow charts, etc.).
Maintain a library of briefings, presentation, graphics, etc within an integrated digital environment (e.g. SharePoint).
Coordinate with technical writers, as necessary on use and development of graphical content within technical and acquisition documentation.
Develop programmatic briefings and informational marketing media to update external stakeholders.
Assist with development and maintenance of the public website.
Lead and assist with content and tracking of all social media applications.
Manage, modify, update, and troubleshoot structure, content and access to website and social media.
Conduct technical audits for dead, inactive or broken links on website and social media pages.
Resolve all technical issues related to website and social media pages within 24-48 hours.
Perform and generate web, social media, and e-blast campaigns analytics report on a monthly basis or as required.
Monitor and respond to website inquiries.
Assist with development of Staff Social Media Policies and Guidelines.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
Bachelor's degree and at least 8 years.
Must have a DoD Secret clearance.
Must be capable of developing briefings and graphics for a senior DoD customer.
Must have experience managing corporate social media accounts.
Must be capable of designing and managing corporate websites.
Must be experienced in setting up Sharepoint to manage graphics/document libraries.
