Survey Party Chief to perform a variety of tasks associated with land surveying, GIS and civil engineering projects in our
Lanham, MD office location. The selected candidate will have a track-record for understanding the importance of ownership of a given project or task and the value of a quality deliverable to our diverse client base. Perform all aspects of land surveying, GPS control, control using robotic total stations, ALTA surveys, property surveys, topography and existing conditions surveys, utility and as-built recovery and construction stakeoutOther duties as assigned
A minimum of 5 years of working experience as a Party ChiefAbility to operate Robotic Total Stations and fluent in GPS, static, RTK and RTN collection protocolsFamiliarity with Trimble TSC3 or T-10 Data CollectorsFamiliarity with Trimble Business Center software a plusSufficient knowledge to handle most survey-related tasks in the field to include the ability to review and understand construction drawings and perform associated layoutExperienced in reading and understanding deeds and platsExperienced in recovery of boundary evidence in the fieldAbility to collect as-built and topographic data, provide sketches and work with survey technicians to develop superior mapping productsAbility to work under rigorous conditionsUtility locating experience a plusExcellent communication skillsMust be reliable
