This position reports to the Associate Director of End-User Services and is part of a two-member team. The User Experience Designer will serve as a thought leader on customer-first design throughout the enterprise, serving as the advocate for the user on websites, applications, technology selection, and other customer touch points.This group sits within IT and are responsible for the internal applications that affect their employees. Their external customers will be affected by the other applications they support that are utilized by their customers (ex. public companies that need to protect the interests of their investors) 1. 2-3 years of experience doing within UX design (prototyping, wireframing for web design) and any research is helpful.2. Comfortable working with people and interviewing them (UX research) to create journey maps, service blueprints that lead to interactive design3. Agile experience; will be working across a variety of teams, and must be clear in explaining importance of UX to multiple teams Responsibilities: Serve as a consultant or coach on all user experience matters and be an ambassador for the UX team; Review design and development efforts by other teams to ensure adherence to standards; Translate customer expectations into wireframes or functional prototypes to illustrate thinking; Deliver layouts, navigation, and interactions consistent with UX style guide; Communicate user goals with personas, customer journey maps, user flows, storyboards or other tools; Research, analyze and document customer behavior/expectations through user interviews, usability testing, heuristic analysis, A/B testing and surveys both online and in-person; Develop personas, journey maps, user scenarios based on customer research and interviews Develop information architecture based on research of current applications, customer needs and requirements Design high-fidelity mock-ups, instructional graphics or other visual artifacts as needed Create presentations of UX recommendations and communicate them effectively to stakeholders About TEKsystems:We're partners in transformation.
