PetroChoice, a leading distributor of lubricants, oils, fluids, and greases is currently recruiting Field Sales Specialists for our MD markets due to growth. The FSS s primary role will be stewarding significant existing direct accounts and upselling those accounts as opportunities arise. The FSS will also look to close new accounts with target annual gallons between 1k and 2.5k. Manage relationships and support the needs of customers to increase penetration and retention; The FSS will be expected to maintain a sufficient correspondence level with customers. All activities/customer touch points should be documented within Salesforce. FSS will be expected to coordinate with appropriate groups for all customer related matters, including billing, delivery, etc. Additionally, FSS will perform onsite visits to buyback accounts, as needed. The FSS should build meaningful relationships with customer contacts that can be leveraged into referrals and/or introductions. The FSS should liaise with the TSM for potential new customer referrals/introductions. Provide sales support to TSMs as required. Portfolio volume and GP will be expected to meet or exceed Company mandated quotas. The FSS will be expected to maintain an appropriate level of churn for their portfolio. Implement sales processes and marketing strategies developed by company; Provide feedback on market trends and industry conditions. The FSS will actively engage/participate in all Company marketing/sales campaign efforts. Education/Experience: Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Marketing or Engineering and at least 2 years of Customer Service and/or Sales Experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Language Ability: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Math Ability: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and PowerPoint) Previous experience with Salesforce is preferred but not required.
