Overview:

The Risk Management Department of Sentara Williamsburg Regional Hospital is hiring a PART-TIME Operations Coordinator.

Position Overview
  • PART TIME: Approximately 20 hours per week.
  • Provides administrative assistance to Director/Manager(s) in support of the operations of the department(s)assigned.
  • Assists Director/Manager(s) with clerical tasks, including correspondence, recording of meeting minutes, meeting arrangements, and department records.
  • Prepares and assists with processing accounting, payroll, purchasing and operating information.
  • Manages phone calls from patients, family, and the community
  • Manages Risk Management files
  • Decreases the need for paper files by managing files in various drives and systems
  • Interacts with attorneys and legal teams; sending and receiving legal documents
  • Works with medical records teams for legal review of patient records
  • Manages daily reports
  • Schedules meetings for committees, sets up WebEx, IT troubleshooter for presentations
  • Back up to Senior leader Operations Coordinator / Secretaries
