Cybersecurity Analyst

Key Role:

Leverage expertise in security and policy to assist with applying the systems engineering life cycle to translating strategic Cyber objectives, technology, and environmental conditions into engineering outcomes and solutions. Support selecting and applying processes and methodologies to meet Cyber performance objectives. Assist with configuring Cyber systems to meet security control requirements. Apply expertise in leadership and problem-solving, be highly organized, and manage multiple efforts concurrently. Leverage expertise in interpersonal communication when working with a team and building relationships with clients and provide operational support, including identifying solutions to network, application, and infrastructure issues. Conduct systems analysis and development to keep systems current with changing technologies, including installing new software, troubleshooting, granting permissions to applications, and training users. Analyze the development of risk management plans on program and project data and research, propose the support of and review existing policy documents, and monitor policy and regulation compliance.

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with working in the intelligence community (IC)

-Experience with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

-Experience with the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and the systems engineering life cycle

-Knowledge of information security (IS) and IT principles and approaches

-Ability to be a team player and work in a collaborative environment

-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph required

-BA or BS degree


Additional Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience as a tester or Cyber analyst

-Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team

-Ability to be self-motivated

-Ability to multi-task with limited supervision in a fast-paced environment

-Possession of excellent time management and organizational skills

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-BA or BS degree in Engineering, CS, or an IT, IS, or Cyber-related field

-Security +, CISSP, or CEH Certification

-DoD 8570 IAT II Certification

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
