Associate Director, Integrated Enrollment Marketing
The George Mason University Office of Enrollment Management invites applications for an Associate Director, Integrated Enrollment Marketing. Integrated Enrollment Marketing strives to create, maintain, execute and assess marketing and communications plans to support and enhance the recruitment, admission, and enrollment of new students to the university.
Responsibilities: The Associate Director, Integrated Enrollment Marketing, ensures that all IEM projects meet agreed upon milestones and are accurately delivered to market in support of enrollment goals. The responsibilities of this role fall in four main areas: project management, reporting and metrics, content creation, and CRM liaison activities.
This position serves as the project manager for a variety of enrollment marketing initiatives, including the Online Virginia Network and ADVANCE projects. The associate director supervises the activities of the enrollment marketing traffic manager, the assistant director, and a variety of specialized student wage staff. Serving as an ex officio member of the Salesforce Team, the associate director manages the Target X and Salesforce activities for the department, helps craft field layouts to manage communications, and provides user feedback and testing to the CRM team. Associate director will develop reporting on effectiveness/ROI of all marketing initiatives (advertising, email communications, social media engagement, etc.) using data management tools and metrics, and recommend improvements based on findings. This position will also oversee creation of innovative and technologically savvy admissions recruitment communications.
- Bachelorâ€™s degree in marketing or communications or equivalent combination of education and experience;
- Demonstrates ability to manage projects, work independently, prioritize tasks, respond effectively to multiple demands, and meet deadlines;
- Background in marketing, advertising, communication, social media or related field/experience in higher education or non-profit environment;
- Knowledge of current higher education marketing communication trends as well as familiarity with higher education enrollment planning, recruitment and marketing strategies;
- Knowledge of and experience with CRMs .
- 3 â€“ 5 years progressive career experience in marketing and/or communications role;
- Previous supervisory experience;
- Familiarity with Salesforce.
