Dark Wolf Solutions is looking for a Senior Software Engineer who is interested in working on Agile DevOps solutions with extensive experience using Java, Python, and/or JavaScript. Our software engineers are asked to solve challenging problems for customers and have a direct impact on the direction of software products and solutions used by those customers. US Citizenship is required, and the candidate must possess an active Secret-level security clearance (at minimum). Location is Dahlgren, VA. Key Responsibilities: - Support the full life cycle design, development, integration, deployment, and operation of applications. - Interface with customers to gather requirements. - Apply Agile best practices to development process. - Collaborate with your engineering team to analyze and decompose requirements, generate user stories, and design solutions and features for client use. - Analyze and design databases, as required, supporting an application working individually or coordinating database development as part of a development team. - Manage website design, as required, perform development, deployment, testing, and maintenance activities. Required Qualifications: - BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field and at least 3 years' experience. - Over 2 years of demonstrated experience with one or more of the following programming languages: Java, Python, JavaScript, C#. - Ability to apply back-end development frameworks (eg, Django, Spring, Grails). - Ability to apply front-end development tools (eg, HTML, CSS, SASS, JavaScript, AngularJS, React) in the design of web-based solutions. - Active Secret-level security clearance, with an ability to be cleared up to the Top Secret / Special Compartmentalized Information access level. Bonus Qualifications: - Experience using to AWS, C2S, Azure, OpenStack, GovCloud or other Cloud environment. - Experience with microservice development, specifically migrating away from a monolithic application. - Experience with database integration (SQL, NoSQL databases, database normalization, indexing technologies).
