Recruits for full spectrum of openings based out of Owens & Minor's corporate Home Office based in Mechanicsville, VA. Primarily exempt roles including individual contributors, manager, director and senior leadership level. Sr. Corporate Recruiter will be well versed in engaging top talent through multiple sourcing channels, pre-closing candidates throughout the recruiting process and managing full life cycle recrutiment. This position will also work closely as a mentor to the Corporate Recruiter and will report into the Manager, Talent Acquisition Partner. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:1. Work closely with manager and hiring managers to develop creative recruiting strategies to attract high level candidates while maintaining low cost per hire in an increasingly competitive market.2. Ensures high level service to hiring managers through ongoing consultation and regular updates regarding open requisitions.3. Searches for and identifies candidates for highly specialized and difficult-to-attract positions while actively advocating diversity recruitment.4. Develops and maintains effective relationships with all levels of company management to ensure staffing needs are effectively assessed and requirements are met.5. Ensures recruitment and employment activities are in compliance with government regulations and organization policies and procedures.6. Develops new sources, screening and recruiting techniques, tools, etc. that build our image as a professional recruiting team and enhance our ability to hire the best candidates in a cost effective and timely manner.7. Develops a diverse recruiting strategy to ensure Owens & Minor is attracting and retaining the best management team available.8. Manages the recruiting process to include relationships with networking, targeted recruiting, alternative media notices and any other channels of communication.9. Mentors the Recruiter to include conducting coaching/counseling sessions and providing opportunities for training and development.10. Ensures agencies are providing the level of customer service that O & M expects.SUPPLEMENTAL JOB FUNCTIONS:1.Performs additional duties as directed.QUALIFICATIONSA. EDUCATION & FORMAL TRAINING:Bachelors Degree requiredThree plus years of recruiting and talent acquisition experience required; experience within relevant field (Corporate functions including IT, Finance, Marketing, HR, Legal, Sales) preferredPrevious experience utilizing automated talent management systems and applicant tracking systems preferredStrong understanding of Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) required; knowledge of Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) requirements preferredExperience recruiting non-exempt through exempt up to and including executive level positionsC.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:Proven success identifying and successfully recruiting high level, qualified candidates through excellent sourcing, screening and interviewing techniques. Proven strong networking and sourcing skills. Ability to interface tactfully and effectively with senior management including to maintain strict confidentiality and clear judgement. Ability to overcome obstacles and achieve short-term and long-term goals, to work under pressure and manage through last minute time constraints. Extensive knowledge of the job market with ability to creatively source new candidates through traditional and innovative recruiting methods. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Thorough knowledge of recruitment methodologies/techniques and EEO practices. Ability to plan, organize, analyze and draw conclusions. Professional demeanor with excellent written and verbal communication skills. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:1. Ability to travel on occasion to local recruiting fairs and events2.
