Pet Brand Ambassador Part TimeThe Pet Brand Ambassador Part Time is responsible for generating consumer excitement, increasing brand awareness and ultimately boosting pet product sales for the company in-store pet ambassador program. We are looking for individuals with a strong background working with dogs, cats, fish, and birds to educate the consumers about the best pet products they can buy. As a brand ambassador, this position involves approaching store customers in a friendly manner and engaging them in conversation, asking questions about their pets to help the consumer find the right products they need. The Pet Brand Ambassador Part Time demonstrates their deep understanding of pet health while recognizing that each customer's pet is important and is considered as a part of their family. Responsibilities:Utilize extensive pet knowledge to engage consumers in a conversation regarding their pets, resulting in helping them to find the right in-store products for their pets.Moving around the Pet Department, approach customers and engage them in a professional manner, which generates enthusiasm for the product(s).May be required to expediently escort customers from cart location to other locations within store to obtain product.Participate in minimal in-store product setup is required to maximize in-aisle customer/consumer assistance across the entire Pet Department.Attend and participate in dedicated training from top pet manufacturers. Study product materials to develop product knowledge.Perform administrative duties: Review schedule, Complete call reports and timesheets, Check emails and Voice Mails, Participate in scheduled calls with Supervisors/others as needed.Qualifications:2-4 years of experience working in a pet retailer, adoption agency, veterinarian clinic or other related organization.Must be available to work Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays.Strong Knowledge of Household Pets: Primarily Dogs & Cats, Secondarily Fish and Birds.Excellent customer service orientation.Good written communication and verbal communication skills.Ability to ensure a high level of service and quality is maintained.Ability to work effectively with management.Flexible and adaptable, able to change and alter according to changes in projects or business environment.
