- Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 grade level in the Federal service, performing duties such as: (1) Assisting senior level analysts in evaluating policies and persuading management to accept and implement recommendations; (2) Ensuring accurate, concise, and timely information is available to senior level analysts upon request; and (3) Working with senior level analysts to monitor, evaluate, and report on performance indicators to identify accomplished milestones.
- Substitution of Education for Experience:You may substitute a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree; or three full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree; or LL.M if related, for experience at the GS-11 grade level. (This education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position). Check with your school to determine how many credit hours comprise three full years of graduate study. If that information is not available, use 54 semester or 81 quarter hours.
- Combining Education and Experience:Appropriate combinations of specialized experience as described in the vacancy announcement and successfully completed graduate level education that, when combined, equal 100% of the total requirement.
