Image and Signal Processing Scientist

Key Role:
Work as a key researcher and research and development engineer on a growing team of scientists who investigate and solve challenging multimedia forensic problems. Leverage expertise with research and development to develop novel signals and multimedia analysis techniques through algorithm and software or script development and use existing multimedia analysis tools. Collaborate with experienced subject matter experts and technical or project managers to develop cutting-edge technology, filling multimedia analysis capability gaps that can withstand rigorous scientific validation. Conduct research and support custom solutions for the client's challenging problems. Analyze scientific publications with a high degree of comprehension, implement concepts from academia into real world use, analyze current technology, and offer or defend scientific recommendations to address specific client missions. Produce high-quality technical solutions, recommendations, and papers for senior technical personnel with the potential to publish. Work on other projects' key areas, as a subject matter expert in core disciplines.


Basic Qualifications:
-3+ years of experience implementing technical prototypes in high-level languages, including Matlab, or python
-Experience with multimedia analysis, signal and imaging processing, algorithm development, machine learning, or computer vision
-Experience with research, including developing, designing, and executing research plans
-Active TS/SCI clearance
-MS degree required

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with integrating commercial or open source software tools for custom application development
-Experience with imagery and media analysis from a forensic perspective

-Knowledge of electronics and hardware control
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
-Possession of excellent entrepreneurial thinking, innovation, and real-world problem solving skills
-PhD preferred

Clearance:
