Administers the Changing Education Through the Arts (CETA) program for DC metro teachers presented primarily at the Kennedy Center.
Duties and Responsibilities
65% Administer program of professional learning workshops/courses for CETA events at the Kennedy Center, including coordinating logistics and communication for events, arranging travel and lodging accommodations, engaging in the programming process, managing evaluative data, and processing payments and making accurate budget projections.
25% Coordinate logistics and communication for professional learning events for school administrators and teaching artists. Proofread and edit workshop packets.
8% Maintain a formalized partnership with Arlington Public Schools and Prince George's County Public Schools and supervise events associated with the partnerships.
2% Serve as the CETA team liaison for the National Partnerships department for the Annual Meeting and Institute and coordinate logistics for selected sessions for these events.

- College degree; a bachelor's degree in either arts education, education, or arts management is preferred.
- Two years of event planning and general office work experience
Minimum Skills and/or Knowledge Required
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills; must be a creative problem solver and able to write clearly.
- Ability to organize and prioritize a large volume of work.
