The Global Marketing team brings to life the unique promise of Hilton's portfolio of brands by defining, creating, and delivering extraordinary multi-channel marketing campaigns designed to drive business results.What will I be doing?As the Global VP of Media, you will be responsible for crafting the enterprise-wide approach to Media. This includes an articulation of core strategies and tactics to drive business performance across our 15 trading brands in over 100 countries, crafting and leading a high performing global team, partnering broadly across the company (Corporate Affairs, Brand Marketing, Enterprise Marketing, Commercial Services, Hilton Honors, Digital Product, Partnerships, etc.), and building foundational capabilities and tools to power premier, award-winning media strategies and execution. In addition, you will apply your deep subject expertise across all media channels, strong agency partnership skills, and analytical mindset in order to deliver ongoing optimization, efficiency and innovation.More specifically, you will:Stand up Hilton's first ever Global Media Center of excellence with team members across Washington DC, Dallas, Shanghai, Singapore and London. Redesign our approach to hotel-funded mid and lower-funnel advertising. Develop highly effective partner relationships with critical ad platforms. Drive full funnel integrated media strategies and plans to support our global enterprise initiatives (direct relationships and customer promise) and hero trading brands (eg Hilton Hotels & Resorts, Waldorf Astoria, DoubleTree, Hampton, etc). Recruit and nurture top talent, cultivating a high performing environment that builds a performance-focused, dynamic, and highly engaged team.What are we looking for?The success in this role will demonstrate itself through the following attributes and skills:Creative, insightful and collaborative leader who brings entrepreneurial energy to existing and new business opportunities. Recognition as a leader with vision in the media industry. Subject matter expert on segmentation, targeting, and ad personalization. To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:Fifteen (15) years working in Media Five (5) years working effectively across key partner groups, including Digital Product, Brand, Corporate Affairs, Legal, Brand Marketing, Digital Acquisition, etc. Experience leading media strategy, planning and buying for consumer brands that invest over $500M in global advertising annually Experience leading department operations, including strategy, talent and budgets Consistent track record of working collaboratively with creative agencies and activation agencies Record of working collaboratively with creative agencies and activation agencies Experience leading international media teams within a top-tier media agency or in-house media team Experience partnering and negotiating directly with both traditional and digital ad networks Proven track record delivering award-winning campaigns inside a matrixed consumer organization that invests significantly in national paid media Expertise driving topline impact via performance marketing tactics Experience optimizing ad investment on auction-based ad networks (eg, Google, Bing) It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:BA/BS Bachelor's Degree Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA) OR equivalent consulting experience Managing multiple teams and brands Sales, marketing, promotions, events and/or public relations What will it be like to work for Hilton?
