  • To qualify for the GS-13: You must have at least one year of specialized experience at, or equivalent to, the GS-12 federal grade level. This experience must include duties such as: experience with the search, seizure and analysis of digital evidence from Windows computers while conducting computer forensic investigations which are civil, criminal, or administrative in nature; synthesizes and reports on evidence analyzed to be used by prosecutors or other law enforcement officials; provided consultations to law enforcement and prosecutors on digital forensic issues.

    To be found fully qualified for this position, applicants must have experience utilizing version 7 of Access Data Forensic Tool Kit (FTK) or version 8 of Guidance EnCase. This must be demonstrated in a separate narrative statement or in the body of your resume. Simply listing FTK or Guidance Encase as a skill is not sufficient. Your resume or narrative statement must demonstrate how you utilize this tool in the context of your current or past positions
