Senior Research Associates / System Programmer / Analysts: Apply mathematical, statistical & analytical knowledge in the design and development of stochastic tools/models using probability theory and statistics; development of analytical models using C++, C# or Matlab and algorithms; perform data modeling, analysis, migration, & integration & interface design and development using tools such as SQL Server, SQL MS Access, CAD/CAM, Oracle 10g/11i, SSIS, SSRS, Erwin, Crystal Reports, HTML, UML, VB, work with other development team members to conduct systems requirement gathering, analysis and specifications, design, development, testing, configuration, and implementation of computer systems and applications; perform research and provide technical solutions during project production and implementation; lead the IT projects quality assurance, testing, validation and implementation processes; prepare, develop and presentation of IT technical proposals, solicitations and technical documentation to current and potential clientele and end-users, assist with IT Projects management tasks including projects planning, scheduling, coordination, liaison between development team, business units and end-users customers. Requirement: Bachelors or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS/IS, Science, Math, Physics, Business, Tech. and relate fields and at least 5 years progressive related software or Systems development, engineering or programming experiences. Acceptable related experiences/occupations such as Systems / Programmer Analyst, Software Engineer/ Developer, IT Analyst / Applications Developer, Business / Systems Analyst, Technical Lead / Analyst, Research Associates / Analyst, Website Designer / Analyst, Database Analyst / Developer, Network / System Administrator or related occupations. Will consider equiv. suitable alternative combination of education & experiences such as 3-Years Bachelor's degree followed by a 1, 2 or 3 year post-graduate diploma, Higher / advanced Diploma/Certificate or a Master's degree which together are determined by a college professor or admission officer or accredited education evaluation expert as equivalent to a Bachelor's degree and 5 years progressive related experiences. Location: Columbia, MD with some domestic travels Required.
