Performs monthly analysis of financial results. Analyzes key financial indicators that provide financial and business insight to senior management. Monitors and reports on areas of operational risk and/or opportunity. Supports government contractor financial requirements, including indirect rate analysis, pricing and providing on-going analysis of projects. Assist with monthly financial submissions, maintenance of financial database, reporting structure and system infrastructure. Participates in various ad hoc requests within the business. Interacts with senior management on various financial analyses.Financial Support of Government Solutions Support the timely and accurate Budget/Forecast Submissions Support opportunity management and pipeline tracking, weekly sales meeting cadence and related resource planning Support timely project forecast submissions by delivery teams Monthly Closing Activities 3rd Party & Other month end accruals and journal entries Account Reconciliations Support Indirect Rate development Support Labor Rate development FTE Headcount Management Planning & Forecasting by Position Contractor Headcount Management Ensure appropriate set-up and approvals Monitor spend and ensure accurately represented in forecast and against customer/initiative specific projects Various ad-hoc projects and requests: Pricing support, work authorizations, and labor qualification reviews. Position Requirements: Experience with/ability to learn multiple financial systems (Costpoint, Hyperion, SAP, Salesforce) Understanding of accounting principles and concepts Strong Excel skills Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and business situations Ability to build business relationships with finance and non-finance functions Minimum Education, Experience, & Specialized Knowledge Required:Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting/Finance and 3-5 years of experience in finance, accounting or financial planning and analysis. Strong Excel skills required with some experience with financial reporting and accounting packages.
