SUMMARYThe Marketing and Design Administrator reports to the Chief Executive Officer and is responsible for abroad cross-section of projects including organization's annual summit continuing education meetingpromotion and graphics, social media presence, public awareness building, general marketing collateral,and website content management. The Marketing and Design Administrator is responsible forparticipating in all phases of a project's life cycle, including, but not limited to, planning, implementation,maintenance, and effectiveness evaluation.RESPONSIBILITIES1. Coordinate and execute promotion of the summit using a variety of outreach tools, includingprint, email, website, and social media. Serve as primary creative resource and point of contact forexternal vendors related to promotion.2. Develop, edit, and coordinate content, and produce layout and design of the summit printedProgram & Exhibits Guide.3. Assist with developing the mobile app., developing, adding, and proofingcontent, and quality assurance testing.4. Travel to the annual summit (approximately 7 days).5. Assist with attendee registration and other assigned tasks at the summit.6. Maintain and create content for social media presence.7. Coordinate content and produce monthly e-bulletin.8. Manage the design and content of the job board.9. Add and edit content on the website.10. Serve as the staff liaison for the Public Outreach Committee, including the online library, triaging public relations-related inquiries, organizing and participating incommittee meetings and conference calls, and maintaining committee-related records.11. Monitor budgets related to all aspects of serving as Marketing and Design Administrator.12. Provide general support for the Chief Executive Officer, officers, committee chairs, and other staffmembers.13. Perform other responsibilities as assigned.POSITION QUALIFICATIONSSkills: Excellent oral and written communication, including proofing and editing Project administration, including coordinating multiple programs simultaneously, timeline andbudget monitoring, and status reporting Marketing program development and implementation Above average proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud (minimum InDesign, Illustrator,Photoshop, and Acrobat) Print media production Website content management. Working knowledge of Drupal CMS is a plus. Working knowledge of social media platforms (eg, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn) Working knowledge of Constant Contact or similar email marketing program Above average proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Detail oriented, highly organized, and deadline-driven Independently motivated and proactive Cooperative and professional demeanor, with demonstrated ability to represent an organization ina poised and articulate manner High ethical standardsEXPERIENCERequired A minimum of four years employment with an association or certification organization, with twoyears in marketing/graphic design Marketing program implementation and materials production Social media presence executionHighly desirable Marketing continuing education meeting(s) Website maintenance Committee support Mobile app administration Budget managementEducation: A Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required. A degree or concentration in marketing,communications, public relations, graphic design, or related field is highly desirable.
