As part of our team, the Manager will utilize various methodologies and models to execute client projects. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Consult on financial management policies and procedures, financial system and ERP integrations, audit readiness and remediation activities, business process improvements and change management. Ability to review, analyze, validate, and reconcile financial/accounting information Ability to review and provide guidance on the creation/updates of financial improvement plans, test plans, and audit sustainment requirements Ability to utilize knowledge of Federal accounting and transaction processes, internal control objectives and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) to provide corrective actions for audit readiness and remediation Perform engagement management responsibilities, including performance reviews, task delegation, project scheduling, project financials, quality review and client management. Meet or exceed sales targets for new and follow-on work. Manage business development activities, such as proposals, capture, account teams, whitepapers, conferences, and/or other thought leadership materials. Meet or exceed targeted billing hours (utilization). Act as performance manager (coach) for up to four coachees outside of engagement responsibilities. Interview campus and/or experienced candidates. Certifications including CPA, CDFM, CGFM, CISA, or PMP Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, IT, or Business Management 4 years' experience in Federal Financial Management Secret Security Clearance (required) Preferred-Knowledge of and experience improving Federal accounting and transaction processes, enterprise risk management concepts, internal control objectives and GAAP Preferred-Knowledge of generally accepted government auditing standards (GAGAS), OMB Circular A-123 documentation, Financial Improvement Audit Readiness (FIAR), testing and reporting requirements Preferred-Experience performing financial statement audits and/or auditability assessments Preferred-Familiarity with Department of Defense (DoD) financial accounting and ERP systems Ability to obtain and maintain certain job-related certifications if no job-related advanced degrees. US citizenship may be required. Ability to work in the United States indefinitely required. Travel may be required. Ability to work overtime required on occasion. Ability to sit in an office environment for long periods of time. Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance. Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally. Ability to obtain and maintain firm independence and abide by firm ethics requirements. Meet or exceed continuing professional education (CPE) requirements.
