Office of the General Counsel (OGC) and Legal Regulation - the integrity of our markets is a critical asset. The Legal and Regulatory Group is responsible for providing legal support to all of Nasdaq's core functions, which encompass matters relating to the marketplace, regulatory policy, technology, proprietary rights, commercial, and corporate matters. Role Description * Supports the intellectual property (IP) function within the Nasdaq legal department through creation of unique intellectual property assets (patents/trademarks). * Contributes to overall IP development efforts with analysis and creation of certain patent and trademark related processes and routines. Example Project (subject to change) * Assists in drafting and prosecuting patent applications and trademark applications. * Assists in brand protection activities, such as drafting UDRP requests for web domain infringement remediation. * Works with internal stakeholders in creating logo usage guidelines. * Assists in drafting IP licensing agreements.
