Jacobs is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to support a customer site in Aberdeen Proving Grounds (APG), MD. This position requires a Secret level security clearance. Duties may include: Support team of cybersecurity professionals compiling and submitting RMF packages for approval and receipt of required authorizations Support development of standardized RMF templates, policies and procedures for large ARMY IT organization Support project schedule development, report progress and provide options for maintaining projected timelines Rapidly familiarize self with complex systems to be authorized Support development of required artifacts for system self-assessment including but not limited to SOPs, POA&Ms, RARs, SARs, etc. Apply clear understanding of RMF roles and responsibilities, processes, procedures, and artifacts to A&A output Use in-depth knowledge of control families and CCIs in conjunction with strong technical background to rapidly identify appropriate justifications from artifacts Collaborate with technical support teams to interpret, document and translate technical information into data appropriate for RMF artifacts and submission packages Utilize eMass for creation of RMF packages #cjpost#dicepost Basic Qualifications: Associate of Science degree in Information Technology, IT Security, Network Systems Technology or related field or equivalent experience plus four (4) to seven (7) years of directly related experience or any equivalent combination of education, experience, training and certifications. 7 years Cybersecurity experience OR 5 years' Cybersecurity experience with Bachelor's degree Must be IAM-I certified (CAP, GSLC OR Security CE) Active secret security clearance or active interim secret security clearance Additional Qualifications: Bachelors Degree preferably in Computer Science, Engineering or Technical field with information security or cybersecurity concentration eMass certification and previous experience with eMass Excellent written communication skills Ability to develop and improve processes Ability to work both independently and with a team for RMF package completion Familiarity with IAVM and STIG applications Strong technical background Experience with or Knowledge of ACAS scanning and result analysis Ability to interface with technical teams to translate technical information into RMF artifacts Essential Functions: Physical Requirements: Most work will be done at a desk or computer but some work is performed on the lab floor. Work Environment: General office environment. The work environment is fast-paced and sometimes involves extreme deadline pressures. The nature of the work requires a high degree of teamwork and cooperation with other members of the staff as well as individuals across the Company and Customers. Independent work also required. May be required to work in a lab environment to include SIPR labs. Equipment & Machines: General office equipment including PC/laptop, Fax, Copiers, Shredder, Printers, Telephone, and other miscellaneous office equipment. Attendance: Attendance is critical at all times. Must be able to work a 40-hour workweek, normally Monday through Friday. However, times and days may vary depending on business requirements. Needs to be available to work overtime during critical peaks and be available to meet last minute requests for overtime should the situation occur. Other Essential Functions: Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Must be able to interface with individuals at all levels of the organization both verbally and in writing. Must be well-organized with the ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously. Must work well under pressure to meet deadline requirements. Must be willing to travel as needed. Must take and pass a drug test and background check as well as a motor vehicle records check. Must be a US citizen. Must have a minimum of an Interim Secret Security clearance.
