Specialized Experience: You must have at least 52 weeks of specialized experience at the GS-12 level in the federal service or at an equivalent level. Specialized experience is defined as:
- Work supporting or contributing to projects or program assessments or evaluations. Typical duties were researching policies, directives, or regulations and extracting information for projects; preparing portions of draft project or assessment reports; and participating in staff interviews or site visits to gather information; AND
- Responsibility for assigned program reviews or assessments or participation in teams performing such assessments. Typical duties were researching relevant law, regulation and policies; gathering data, reviewing documents, conducting site visits and interviewing staff; documenting findings and preparing reports; developing draft recommendations and follow-up plans; AND
- Regular work in assessment and evaluation of management and operating programs, including conducting assessments and evaluations, gathering and analyzing data, preparing reports and tracking corrective action.
Only experience and/or education obtained by the closing date of this announcement will be considered.
Education cannot be substituted for experience at this grade level.
