The incumbent assists in the post award administration of grants and contracts for faculty research, technical assistance, and instructional projects. Responsibilities: Responsibilities include the financial management of subcontracts, creating encumbrances in Banner, monitoring electronic subcontract invoice inbox, reviewing invoices and forwarding to PI for approval. Incumbent will perform audit of invoices paid and work closely with PIs, department administrators, Accounts Payable, and OSP team members to resolve issues. Assists Associate Director, Financial Management on various reporting requirements such as post audits, overspent accounts, and other compliance areas.

Qualifications: The applicant should have a demonstrated knowledge of financial management skills. Sponsored program or university experience is preferred. In addition, the individual should have highly developed time-management, problem-resolution, and organizational skills. The individual should be able to foster an environment that supports teamwork, collaboration, and high-quality customer service.

The successful applicant must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident, and successfully complete a criminal background check as required by federal law.
