Our Exciting Work Environment Dempsey's Brew Pub and Restaurant - named after beloved former Baltimore Oriole Rick Dempsey - is the sports-themed brew pub and restaurant open daily on Eutaw Street at Oriole Park at Camden Yards. The menu is upscale American fare and features a wide assortment of bottled beer to go along with Dempsey's original in-house-brewed draft beers. The restaurant space is 11,000 square feet, with the capacity to hold up to 250 people, plus summer patio seating on Eutaw Street. Dempsey's Brew Pub and Restaurant is a year-round operation - open for lunch and dinner during both game days and non-game days. The Opportunity As part of the Restaurant Server at Oriole Park at Camden Yards, you can put your hospitality and customer service skills to the test. Restaurant associates take orders from guests, enter items into the Point of Sale System, and deliver food and beverages to ensure guest satisfaction. It is about creating special experiences; in fact, they are experiences so special they create memories that last a lifetime. It is a child's first visit to the ballpark, a guest celebrating a birthday, or a bride and groom's rehearsal dinner in the Main Dining Room. You can help every guest tell a better story. Serves food and beverage items to guests in accordance with the Company's GuestPath Universal Service Standards and applicable Operational Standards. Essential Functions: Greets guests at table and supplies guests with menus if necessary. Communicates daily specials, answers questions about menu items, and takes beverage and/or food orders. Serves alcoholic beverages responsibly, requests identification, adheres to all unit and company alcohol service policies and procedures. Enters orders into point-of-sale system so that kitchen staff can prepare food. Picks up drinks and food when orders are ready and delivers orders to guests. Observes and follows-up with guests to respond if they require additional service. Prepares and delivers check to guests at table. Accepts and processes payment or directs customer to cashier. Performs opening, closing, and side work duties as assigned. Performs other duties as assigned. IWhy work for us?
