Job Description Position: Bilingual Mortgage Loan Officer Job Purpose This position originates Mortgage loans to be sold or portfolioed. I. Essential DutiesCompletes mortgage loan applicationsReports pipeline updates directly to Mortgage Branch Manager twice a week.Assists in collecting information required to obtain lending decision as needed.Coordinates loan approval and schedules settlements.Assists in obtaining follow-up documentation from customer as needed.Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned. Our compensation model rewards top performers with a payout per loan that increases with growing production levels. If you have been originating both Forward and Reverse Mortgage loans for at least 2 years and have a solid track record of consistent production, we would like to talk with you. The ideal candidate will have mortgage originating experience with vast industry knowledge and awareness. Necessary Skills: A strong work ethic, a desire to succeed, ability to learn quickly, communication and time management skills, self-motivation, attention to detail, and ability to multi-task. Bilingual fluency in Spanish/English required. ** As a Loan Officer with Mariner Finance you would be required to possess your National Mortgage Licensing & Registry (NMLS) registration under the SAFE Act of 2008. And you must also hold an ACTIVE state MLO license for each state you will be originating in.
