Requisition Number Post Date Title Business Banking Portfolio Specialist City Herndon State VA Description ABOUT THIS ROLE The Business Banking Portfolio Specialist will be responsible for providing administrative and member service support to Business Development and Commercial Lending Officers Provide member support to both existing and prospective members Cross selling additional products and services when applicable In addition provide documentation preparation and or review insurance and financial follow up maintaining file disbursements of loan proceeds and other duties as assigned DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES Provide member services solutions act as liaison between departments coordinating member needs Open accounts send wires provide account reviews and general maintenance Order and analyze Appraisals Environmental Credit Flood Certificates and Title Reports Work with Commercial Lending and BB Teams to open business and personal accounts Prepare and process documentation related to new renewed and modifications to commercial and real estate loans using the LaserPro System Input loan new relationships and renewed loans into nCino upload financials organizational documents and credit memo commitment letter into document manager and submit for approval Coordinate with loan serving for funding to ensure all wires fees and payments have been processed Services the loan portfolio to include loan payments processing loan advances account transfers payoffs and wires Review Create File and Terminate UCC and UCC Financing Statements Follow up to ensure proper recordings of liens and continuations Establish credit and collateral files Review Insurance exceptions Follow up with borrowers for evidence of coverage Conduct post closing reviews and file management duties post closing file review tracking follow up and exceptions items maintenance of loan file and document imaging Provide assistance to co workers with member inquires or problems Ensure prompt and courteous response to customer inquires Review and process all renewals no later than days from maturity date Request from borrower financial statements tax returns and any other financial as required by the loan documents and policy of the credit union Update manager and key team members with weekly status reports of all loans line renewals and all work in progress Write memos and letters on an as needed basis to communicate any changes to policies or procedures that affect the Commercial SBA Lending Department Adhere to Bank Secrecy Act BSA regulations and all related Credit Union policies and procedures Performs other related duties as assigned Requirements REQUIREMENTS years of experience with business banking business services or other directly related experiences Strong comprehension of loan and legal documents Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work effectively and cooperatively in a team environment Excellent attention to detail and a deadline driven mindset Self starter with strong administrative and organizational skills and an eagerness to learn Ability to perform tasks carefully accurately and in accordance with specific instructions Consistency of work quality and compliance standards requirements and expectations Ability to track numerical data of detailed organizational information Experience with commercial loan documentation process Laser Pro system a must WORK ENVIRONMENT This job operates in a professional office environment This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers phones and photocopiers This role also requires the ability to stand sit for extended periods of time Equal Opportunity Employer Protected Veterans Individuals with Disabilities Please view Equal Employment Opportunity Posters provided by OFCCP here The contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about discussed or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant However employees who have access to the compensation information of other employees or applicants as a part of their essential job functions cannot disclose the pay of other employees or applicants to individuals who do not otherwise have access to compensation information unless the disclosure is a in response to a formal complaint or charge b in furtherance of an investigation proceeding hearing or action including an investigation conducted by the employer or c consistent with the contractor s legal duty to furnish information CFR c Apply Online Send This Job to a Friend Careers Browse Open Jobs Search Open Jobs Edit Your Profile View Submitted Applications PRIVACY INTERNET POLICY FRAUD CENTER CAREERS Northwest Federal Credit Union Federally Insured by NCUA CALL CENTER a TTY MF AM PM Sat AM PM AFTER HOURS LOST OR STOLEN CARDS ABA ROUTING NUMBER mcafeediv POSITION relative TOP px LEFT px hudlogo POSITION relative TOP px
