The Digital Marketing Coordinator will assist in developing managing and tracking promotional campaigns using digital technologies to achieve growth objectives The incumbent will utilize paid channels such as google facebook and others to increase student leads persist rates blog traffic newsletter subscriptions social engagement brand awareness etc This position will assist American Public Education Inc APEI and its affiliates and reside within the paid media department reporting to the senior manager online paid media Essential Functions Assists manager in the daily management of paid media strategies including the development and execution of campaigns optimizations measurement and reporting Continually updates and aligns paid media strategies with new and emerging best practices to improve quality and efficiency Measures campaign metrics and KPIs including CTR CPC CPA conversion rate etc Reviews and analyzes results from current program offerings recommends changes and enhancements to help increase student enrollment numbers Collaborates with internal creative team in house writers and project managers to produce effective promotional campaigns Owns day to day vendor relationships managing deliverables and implementations based on vendor recommendations Remains up to date on emerging marketing trends and technologies and helps identify new and innovative ways to promote the University and other APEI clients Work Environment and Physical Demands Standard office environment in Manassas VA Required Skills Ability to build manage and optimize campaigns in google ads bing ads facebook ads Ability to create effective ad copy materials which adhere to strict University standards and guidelines Intermediate skills in google analytics Strong analytical skills including excel Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Preferred Experience in higher education Google ads certification
