RENOVATIONS SUPERVISOR - Full-Time AJ Dwoskin & Associates, a Washington Post Top Workplace recipient, is seeking an experienced and dynamic team member with a positive can-do attitude to join our team in Fairfax, VA! The Renovation Supervisor is a hands on role that will lead the renovation team in the field and report to the Project Manager. The ideal candidate will have the skills and experience detailed below, and the proven ability to lead a team to success by completing quality renovation projects that are on budget and on schedule. Responsibilities Include: . Provide daily onsite supervision of the renovation team's work to ensure production and quality standards are met. . Ensure timely ordering of supplies and materials and that adequate supply is available at all times. . Coordinate with the Project Manager on deficiencies or changes to timelines, or project scope. . Make sure the renovation team is aware of any changes that impact their work. . Act as a dedicated resource for new construction and in‐house renovations as needed. . Perform carpentry/craftsman duties as requested. . Maintain current knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and appliances to be utilized on assigned projects. . Install cabinets, laminate, doors, trim, and rough and finish carpentry. . Install ceramic tile and floor substrate. . Complete framing/drywall, textures, and other finishes as instructed by the Project Manager. . Provide regular status updates to the Project Manager and report any issues that arise. . Monitor project timelines to ensure timely completion of work. . Report any personnel issues, problems, or material shortages to the Project Manager immediately. . Execute duties with OSHA safety compliance in mind. Report any unsafe acts that may be observed. . Assist fellow renovation teammates as needed. Qualifications Include: Incumbents should have a minimum of 10 years of general contracting experience to include; leadership and supervision of field teams, electrical, plumbing, installation of cabinets and laminates, trim, and experience with ceramic tile, framing, drywall, and finishing touches. Should be familiar with OSHA guidelines and have a valid driver's license. Incumbents require good communications skills, a command and understanding of the English language, the ability to follow instructions, and computer literacy.
